Yesterday we dropped Derek off at the airport, and it was very heart breaking watching a grown man say good bye to his little girl and her crying :( At first she was fine with it, and she was giving him hugs and kisses and saying bye dada, but then when he started going up the stairs to security, she was not happy. Her arms went out and she fell to the floor. By the time we got to the car she was crying yelling for dada. Poor girl is to that age, where they understand when people leave. She has talked to him a couple times on the phone and done great though, so we will see how this week goes. I am sure he is struggling more than we are, as he is living in a tent all week doing war like activities and probably missing the crap out of Madisynn.
Friday night we went to Disney on Ice, and had a great time! She actually loved watching it and sat still, until intermission. I think intermission is a bad idea or they need to shorten it. She got up and was walking around and then by the time it came back on, she did not want to sit. Plus all the good stuff was before intermission, so she was a little bored with Peter Pan. We were able to stay for the whole thing so that was nice. For some odd reason she insisted on taking a sweater and keeping it on the whole time. It was 80 DEGREES outside, but when she wants something, there is no reasoning with her. The seats were in the front row, but then they put folding chairs in front of ours, so that kind of irked me, but either way, Madisynn could see just fine. She LOVED Mickey and Minnie and Flounder from the Little Mermaid.

This would be when she saw a fish :)

Awe, it's so hard for the little ones to say goodbye. It was hard when Greg deployed, we were really worried how it was going to be saying bye. Landon surprisingly did well. I hope the week goes by fast for you. Looks like Disney on Ice was fun. I think Landon would enjoy that.
