This weekend was a lot of fun and of course went by too quickly. Thursday was a little crazy as we were not sure mom was going to make it out of the blizzard in Colorado, she did, but then ran into bad weather here. We had some horrible storms and they got diverted to Jackson MS. I was by myself with the 2 kids, so I left to go get food and we all got drenched!! Luckily she made it in safely though. Friday we went shopping of course, Saturday we baked cupcakes and a pony cake for Madisynn and then we took the kids trick or treating. Madisynn was a southern bell and Braylon was a baseball. There was not a single person who did not comment on how freaking cute Madisynn looked. She was so pretty!! Braylon slept most of the trick or treating, but he was really cute as well!! Braylon behaved very well this weekend, which made us realize just how spoiled he is. We need 3 adults in this house at all times and there would be a lot less crying :) He got his first try of green beans and did not like them at all. Last night we tried peas and those went over much better, still doesn't like it as much as plain cereal, but better then green beans. Excited to keep trying new ones every couple of days!!
Went back to the doctor yesterday. Braylon is all cleared up, but Madisynn still has a double ear infection so she is on another antibiotic. She really behaves well when she is sick and still sleeps good. We are very lucky!! The three of us still have this cold going on 2 weeks now. The doc said it probably is just a cold that doesn't want to go away. Derek was the lucky one never to catch it!
Such a young age to be on the phone already!!
