What a rough couple of weeks!! Madisynn started getting sick a week and a half ago, and we took her to the doc last Monday and he said nothing was wrong. Get home and she starts running a fever. Fever gets up to 103.7, she stayed on tylenol and motrin straight for 4 days. Called the nurse on Tuesday and he said, she was probably fine, as long as the tylenol makes it go down a little she is ok, but watch for signs of seizures!! WHAT??? Thanks dude! That's dealing with military for you. Finally Thursday I took her back and she had an ear infection and doc thought she had pneumonia, but xray determined she did not. That evening she took a bad turn and was very lethargic. Had to take her to the ER as she was dehydrated. She wouldnt eat or drink a thing. They gave her an IV with some fluids and then by Saturday she was SOOOO much better! Just in time for Braylon to get sick! Braylon was up almost all night Sunday night so I took him to the ER on Monday and he has an ear infection as well. And also possible bronchitits. Since he was going to be on antibiotics either way, the doc did not want to subject him to an xray, so he put him on stronger antibiotics that will work for the ear and lungs. Madisynn is back to her usual self and Braylon is working on it. He has thrown up a couple times from coughing so hard, and its usually while he is eating, so he is fighting eating food, but has started nursing better. Tomorrow my mom comes, so I am hoping they are both good over the weekend!
