HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!! Derek is 29 years old today!! It seems like just yesterday we were still just teenagers, and here we are getting close to 30 and with a family! Unfortunatly I do not have any great pictures to show, because what we thought was going to be a relaxing weekend ended up being anything but!! On Saturday evening after Madisynn's bath, she started throwing up everywhere. Now, I am ok with vomit, not since I have been pregnant, but I am still ok, just the occasional gag while she was doing it. But I was catching it in my hand and so I yelled for Derek to get something and I hear cabinets opening and closing as he grabs a handful of tupperware and then I hear the tupperware get thrown down the hallway and he runs to the bathroom and gets the trash can. He kind of freaks under pressure :) So he went and gave her another bath while I cleaned up the couch and carpet. He then comes out with her all clean in just enough time for her to throw up yet again!! We kept her up a little later because I was worried she would do it again. It had been a good hour and a half since she had, so we put her to bed and 30 min later she does it again. We change her pajamas and her sheet and bring her mattress into our room on the floor and about an hour later she does it again. This time we said screw the pajamas :) She fell asleep on Dereks chest for a little while and then put her back next to our bed and she slept a good 3 hours until I hear "Hi Mama" "GO, GO KITTY" and so on, so we decided to put her back in her room and she slept till 9:30. Yesterday I stuck to the BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast) and she was fine all day. Today I thought would be all good so I went back to adding her dairy and now she has had some MAJOR diaper blowouts. So it looks like we are not all clear yet! Hopefully Derek nor I get whatever this is and she gets to feeling better real soon!! This is the first stomach bug she has ever had, so it sure is a new experience to us all!!
We are in a winter weather advisory right now, so Derek is hoping he gets a free day off tomorrow. So, what a great birthday weekend it has been for Derek, sickness and cold weather :)
