Well we got Derek's line number today for when he will put on his next stripe! He made 5300 out of 7100, so not the best, but not the worst either! So it looks like he wont be putting it on till around March! We are still very happy with that though!!
Madisynn's fine motor is so good! She loves putting change in her piggy bank
Most people have commented on how proud we are of Madisynn. I have always loved kids and love the way children grow and develop. I love working with children whether I was a nurse or in the daycare setting. I think all children are amazing. I feel so very lucky to be able to stay home with my child and watch her grow and develop each day. I guess because I know children, and I know where they should be at what age, makes me more proud when Madisynn does something super early. She amazes me every day and I am so very proud of her and us as parents! Which arises a question!! As much as we love children how come it was so hard for us to get pregnant with Madisynn and with our 2nd? Interesting how life works! Everything worked out with Madisynn so we are confident that everything will work out with the next as well!! Everything happens for a reason!!
So as proud as we are I thought I would go over a few amazing things Madisynn does!
Walks, runs, climbs, bounces, dances
Can say over 20 words
Can blow kisses, waves hi and bye, gives high fives, gives dabs, pats her legs, claps her hands, can help put her clothes and shoes on,
HAS to use utensils when eating, spoon or fork
Knows- cows, cats, dogs, deer and bird
Knows and points to- belly, ears, tongue, hair, foot, eyes
Can do animal sounds for- Cow, cat and dog
Will help clean up
Can follow commands
Loves talking on the phone, wearing jewlery, playing with purses and wallets, playing with the kitchen, playing ball, going outside, watching handy manny, winnie the pooh and micky mouse
Is still showing signs of being left handed
And we are on the last days of breast feeding! My baby is gone and that is a lot harder on me than her :(
