What a busy weekend that went by way too fast!! Saturday we had a garage sale. Just the stuff left over from our last garage sale in the spring, and we still made some good money. There were 3 of us that went in together and did it at our house. We came out making the most, so we were pretty happy. Sunday we went and spent our garage sale money :) And then Monday we cleaned the carpets and went bowling while they dried. First time Madisynn has ever gone bowling and she did pretty well. Short attention span though. Waiting for her turn is not fun when there are lights and games going on behind her. Fun time though. Glad to come home to clean carpets. We figure with Braylon getting ready to crawl this winter, we should probably do a good cleaning of them before he gets down there. If he is anything like Madisynn he may be eating the carpet :)
Braylon has been doing good. I have gone against what most people think and started him on cereal. The first night was not too much different but he did stay down from 10:30-6. The next night he did the same, but he actually slept comfortably with out waking me. Last night he slept comfortable again, but got up at 5. I dont care if he wakes at night, just as long as he "sleeps like a baby" while he is asleep. So looks like I may have found something that actually works for him. We set up the excersaucer to help keep him more occupied during the day, but the poor baby gets scared so easily. Some of the noises just scare the crap out of him :) Madisynn loves putting him in it. She says "Braynen down NOW" She can finally say his name instead of baby or buba. Just started yesterday. Obviously not perfect, but very close. Her vocab is absolutly amazing now. She picks up words like that!! Our friends came over on Sat and they come over all the time. All of a sudden she could say both of their names. She loves to say stuff is stuck now, ever since the garbage truck got stuck. She also like to say "where is it?" "OH, there it is" She now says yes, instead of OK and says nope instead of no. So much learning going on in that head of hers. Wish I could get in there and see it all!! Very fun!
Braylon 12 weeks old

Reading a book with her baby on her back
Is it just me or does she look way older than 2 in this picture?

This is what Braylon did while we bowled.
She was able to pick it up all by herself

First time in the excersaucer!
